One of these days I should wish to know whether they believe their own words

As I was listening to Ray Harris Jr.'s World War II podcast, I started to ponder on Hitler's words of justification after invading and then declaring the war on the USSR.

It is known that history keeps repeating itself. Justifications and accusations move politics these days too and a prove of this are  some of Mariano's (Rajoy) speeches or interviews. Not an easy job to get to interview the guy, by the way. Rewriting these it's a waste of space an time but there are archives to back my words.

As speeches like this flow out of the mouths of the leaders, I can not help but to question myself: Do they really believe what they say? Notice that whatever the answer might be, there a enormous implications upon it.
